“You can’t really understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.” This Walk a Mile event asks the men in our community to literally walk one mile in women’s shoes. It’s not easy walking in these shoes, but it’s fun and it gets the community to talk about a very timely topic…Gender Equality. The theme this year is #womenatwork.

Join us along with Global News personality & local resident, Jay Janower, for a great morning!

The Soroptimists invite men, women and youth to come out during their lunch hour and walk a mile together and #starttheconversation around ending gender inequality in the Tri-Cities. Each registrant will receive a pair of event socks upon check-in. Registration is $20 per person plus processing fee.

Walking in women’s shoes is optional and encouraged!
