Maryam’s first language is Farsi, she knows 3 different dialects of Iran and is a Turkish translator.
She has her own furniture Production and distribution line in Iran, and had a partnership factory between Iran and Turkey as translator and office manager. She also volunteers as Turkish translator for Immigrants and refugees in courts, hospitals, police stations and a women’s organization in Turkey. In Canada, she started with junior jobs because of language barriers and worked her way up. She is a member of CA church and an active volunteer as translator and mentor for newcomers.
